Lotus Wheel Head
The lotus wheel head kit is available for our Millacron potters wheel and some other popular brands. An alternative to a standard wheel head which allows you to easily remove pots on their batts without complicated and time consuming fittings. It is ideal for rapid production especially of larger or thinly thrown pieces that might otherwise be damaged by handling. The long established Lotus batt system is available for many makes of potters wheel, please specify your wheel make and model when enquiring. Waterproof plywood discs of 9mm thick ply are contained by the rim of the Lotus wheel head, such that the outer edge is level and shielded by the smooth aluminium rim. The disc is kept firmly in place by a notch in its edge that engages with a metal pin set in the rim. The discs and pot are released by upward pressure through the apertures in the wheel head. Kit includes one batt.
