Keep your bucket of clear glaze clean with our 60 mesh sieve.
We suggest using a mesh sieve if you see particles of dried glaze, fabric, hair, kiln pieces, etc., in your bucket or on your dipped pieces. To test if you have particles, simply take a cup full of glaze and pour it through the sieve. If particles remain you may find it necessary to sieve the rest of your bucket.
To sieve your bucket: Put the sieve on top of your 3.5 gallon bucket and pour the glaze through the sieve. You may use a spatula to help the glaze through the sieve. Once the glaze has passed through the sieve, pour it into a clean bucket and continue this process until all of your glaze has been sieved.
Sieve your glaze on an as needed basis, every studio/dipper is different.
